Home Theater Magazine has regularly published in print an annual Buyers Guide. This Buyer's Guide offers detailed information, specifications, and editorial reviews of home theater electronics and accessories.

Home Theater approached Novisi with a desire to create an online version of this popular publication. The challenges were to build a system that allowed for easy management of product details and specifications by non technical staff, provide an intuitive navigation system for locating and comparing product data, and to integrate the product data with editorial content from their CMS.

Novisi coordinated with Home Theater magazine to develop an easily manageable hosting infrastructure and strategy. Business requirements and project specifications were set with business owners and editorial staff. Novisi developed the complete custom solution to facilitate collection, management, and presentation of technical and editorial content for thousands of home theater products.

The Home Theater Buyers Guide supports searches, category browsing, and listing filters, as well as a side by side comparison tool used for comparing similar products. Novisi’s work with Home Theater Magazine has resulted in the complete creation of the Buyer’s Guide, supportive of existing branding and design goals.
